Student employees will indicate an improvement in their own perception of their ability to secure employment outside of WSU post graduation. Union OperationsSelect ObjectiveAs a result of their employment in the SU student will have the opportunity to develop and improve practical skills and Interpersonal skillsThrough completion of in service trainings and monthly meetings with supervisors.Students will develop and improve their practical work based skills and interpersonal skills as a result of their employment experience in the SUThe Employee Outcomes Survey will ask students to reflect on their work as an on-campus student employees and to rate their level of agreement to which their job helped them to develop these two skills using likert scale of strongly agree to disagree PRACTICAL SKILLS - Demonstrating competency in customer service, project management, technical skills, effective communication, time management and goal setting and attainment. COGNITIVE COMPLEXITY SKILLS - Articulating an application of resources, referrals, federal/state/university policies and regulations, and an awareness of transferable skills. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - Sustaining collaborative teamwork opportunities, an appreciation and awareness of diverse communities and practices, and implementation of conflict resolution and mediation.
