Student Access & Success Awards Please join the Awards and Recognition Committee in celebrating the accomplishments of our Student Access & Success Colleagues by nominating them for a Student Access & Success award! Nominations for the Student Access & Success Division Annual awards are open! Submissions will be open until Friday, March 13, 2026. The possible awards are listed below along with a description for you to make the best possible nomination! You can nominate your colleagues in each of the following categories: Outstanding Individual Awards: This award is presented to recognize the significant contributions of individual employees within Student Access & Success in effectively serving students and contributing to the goals and mission of the division. Two outstanding staff awards ($500 each) and two outstanding hourly/work-study award ($250 each) are presented each year to exceptional individuals. Outstanding Team Performance Awards: This award is presented to recognize the significant contributions of teams of individuals within Student Access & Success in effectively serving students and contributing to the goals and mission of the division. A team is defined as three or more people working together toward a specific goal to better serve students and increase the overall success of Student Access & Success. The monetary award is to be distributed to team members at the recommendation of the team chair. Toni Weight Lifetime Achievement Award This award is presented in honor of Toni Weight who served Weber State University from 1975-2006 as a significant, consistent advocate of student development, both personally and academically. The award recognizes individuals who have made long-term and significant achievements in the development and holistic education of students. Nominees must have been employed at WSU, in the department of Student Access & Success, for no less than 10 years and engaged in student development activities for no less than 15 years.
