SA Webmaster Goals and Assessment
Academic Year 2000-2001

 

Goals

  1. Facilitate increased awareness among the division about web/technology implementation strategies on the divisional, departmental and personal levels.

  2. Implement SAWEB on an active production basis no later than the beginning of Spring semester, 2001.

  3. Maintain current and accurate documentation of all facets of SAWEB support.

  4. Conduct two disaster recovery rehearsals involving live production data.

  5. Maintain a system availability status of greater than 99%.

  6. Improve the cultural attitude regarding acceptance of technology within Student Affairs.

  7. Develop a methodology for assessing customer service performance.

 

Assessment

  1. Monthly service report on the performance of SAWEB, including
    1. Reliability statistics
    2. Performance statistics

  2. Overall service rating of 'Meets expectations' or higher regarding individual department interactions.

  3. For departments, accuracy of providing feedback on content, style and presentation of web sites.

  4. General perception of technology initiatives, from the viewpoint of SAMC, President's Council, university divisions and students.

  5. Accuracy of meeting division needs through web oriented programming tasks.
