To obtain and maintain a full and part time staff.
To upgrade and increase our audio visual inventory.
To upgrade and replace the lighting and sound systems in the ballroom
(long term).
To maintain a good open relationship with the programs and scheduling
departments.
How to Accomplish
By staying competitive with other departments on campus concerning salary.
By attending conferences or trade shows to see "what is out
there" and then working the money into our budget to purchase these
items.
I'm not quite sure yet (that's why it is still long term), but possibly a
good start might be to utilize the speakers and other equipment that came
out of the theater.
By stopping in frequently to ask questions about upcoming events and
activities. Also, by having weekly set-up meetings.
