Financially Needy Students

Scholarships

  • Increase community resources of funding
  • Provide additional financial resources for national scholarships
  • Complete a financial comparison of yearly funding
  • Two additional national scholarship books added to the resource library, if available

All students and prospective students

P.E.E.R (Peers educating to End Rape)

  • Students will learn of the resources available to combat sexual harassment and sexual violence
  • Monitoring of the campus climate for women students in the areas of sexual harassment and sexual violence, and creating systematic procedures to institutionalize appropriate policies, education, and programs to work toward the elimination of violence against women
  • Information and resources will be made available during Rape Awareness Week via a week of speakers, pamphlets, and programs.
  • Surveys will be created and disseminated each semester to assess campus climate in relationship to sexual harassment and sexual violence

All students and interested community members

Women’s Fair

  • Students and community will become familiar with campus and community resources that will assist them in meeting their academic and personal needs
  • Booth participants will increase; thus, providing additional resources for attendees
  • A count of student attending the women’s fair will be kept via a sign-in sheet and/or actual count
  • A comparison analysis will be completed to assess the increase of booth participants
