Goals/Outcomes
2000-2001

 

  • Complete installation of new AMF equipment.
Completed as of 2/1/01.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys of all classes and services offered.
Customer satisfaction surveys of the following groups were completed: bowling classes (Fall Semester, all), billiard classes (all). Survey of group rental users is in progress. Surveys of video game players and informal recreation bowlers still need to be done.
  • Improve pool tables as required.
Felt on all pocket billiard tables was replaced prior to ACUI qualifying in January, 2001, and all tables were leveled.
  • Increase revenues through "quantum" bowling. Conduct price comparison study of products/services with local market to insure competitiveness and revenues.
A marketing/promotional program for "Quantum" bowling and group rentals for bowling and billiard areas is ongoing. An area price comparison was conducted and prices were adjusted by 10/15/01. Prices will be modified again 6/1/ 01.
  • Perform analysis on video games. Evaluate changes, options for area with results of video games analysis.
Underway, to be completed prior to Fall Semester 2001.
  • (Additional goal) Improve pinsetter maintenance to less than one stop for every 60 frames bowled. Complete inventory of all tools, parts and equipment, including surplus Brunswick scoring system.
Pinsetter maintenance was improved to an average of one stop per 260 frames by 5/26/01 - monitoring is continuing. Tool, part and equipment inventory is ongoing. Inventory of surplus Brunswick scoring system was completed 11/10/00.
